Jobs

Gull Wings Children’s Museum welcomes applications from qualified people who represent the full diversity of our community, without regard to age, marital status,  national origin, religion, sexual orientation, race, disability, or other non-job-related factors.

We are currently beginning an evolution of our facilities, programs, and staff. As a nonprofit, our ability to offer paid staff positions is directly tied to our income, and our income is based upon entrepreneurial paid and volunteer staff who provide innovative and first class service to visitors, volunteers, donors, and the general public.

We seek team members who understand that the only difference between a successful for-profit and a successful not-for-profit is that a nonprofit benefits the public and not its shareholders. We are looking for paid and volunteer staff members who have a spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation, excel at providing a first class customer service experience, love working in a team environment, and have a passion for our mission.

We view our volunteer staff positions as pathways to paid positions as we grow our organization, and apply similar standards and expectations to volunteer and paid staff.

If you are interested in one of the following positions, please send a letter of inquiry and current one-page resume outlining your qualifications and interest to Julia Chambers, Executive Director via email to director@gullwings.org. We are a forward-thinking institution and value individuals who know their weaknesses and actively look for ways to improve themselves and the organization. Thank you.

Volunteers who demonstrate dedication to our Museum catch our attention and often find a job with us when one opens up.
